STELLAR NUCLEOSYNTHESIS
The Astronomical Society of Australia (ASA) in collaboration with the Australian National Institute for Theoretical Astrophysics (ANITA) are proud to present the next of their Summer Schools in Theoretical Astrophysics. The topic for 2010 is "Stellar Nucleosynthesis". The school will be held at Monash University from the 17th to the 22nd of January 2010.

The School will be hosted by the Stellar Interiors and NucleoSynthesis (SINS) group within Monash University's Centre for Astronomy and Astrophysics. All sessions will take place at Monash's main campus in Clayton, in the suburbs of Melbourne. There will be a welcome reception on Sunday Jan 17, with the scientific sessions taking place in the week of Jan 18-22.
Each day will include a Q&A session where students will form groups to discuss questions raised by the lectures. There will also be a laboratory session daily, covering analytical and computing exercises to supplement the lectures.
SEEKING PARTICIPANTS
The School is open to all graduate students (MSc or PhD) of any nationality, who are studying astronomy or astrophysics at an Australian Instituton. All local costs (accomodation and meals) will be covered for participants (with the exception of dinner on Wednesday evening, which is a free time for participants). It is assumed the home institution will cover travel costs to get to Monash. Information on how to apply is here.
